This time Allstate, California’s 3rd largest residential insurance company, says, “It will stop selling new home insurance policies in California and they are seeking a 12% increase in the rate of current policy holders.” This has been typical in years past, with insurance companies pulling out of the state pursuant to our earthquake, mold and fire liabilities.
